La Providence's location allows you to reach the town centre on foot, where many of these restaurants, but also small galleries, boutiques, souvenir shops and bars are located.

In the Mount Rochelle Nature Park there are several hiking trails starting from entry level to difficult, whether individually or professionally guided. Here all cyclists, horse lovers, Nordic walkers and hikers will have an inspiring day.

La Providence's exceptional location offers you a wide range of opportunities for varied day trips. Explore the golden triangle of wine-growing with the charming neighbouring towns of Paarl and Stellenbosch. Capetown with its many sights is about 45 minutes away by car and is always worth a visit! And, of course, the Cape of Good Hope should not be missing from your Bucket List
Take the chance in the South African spring to go on a whale safari in Hermanus and observe whales with their young at close range. All destinations are about an hour by car from La Providence, so a longer stay with us will always be interesting.
